India National Cricket Team batter Shubman Gill has been battling hard in the ongoing first ODI against the England National Cricket Team. The match between the two teams is taking place at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur.
Shubman Gill, who took the No.3 position in the ongoing game, has stepped up for his team in the absence of Virat Kohli in the first game of the series. The batter has oozed his class and has made a strong comeback, especially after the poor last few months.
Shubman Gill has been keeping his team in the hunt in the chase of 249 runs, and the way he has crafted his innings has been a sight to watch. He soaked in all the pressure after the India National Cricket Team lost both the openers, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma.
Gill has been made to work hard in the innings, especially because of the injury that he faced. The right-hander has faced a hamstring problem in the game, and despite that, he has been giving his best for the team and making sure that he takes his team close to the target.
Gill first experienced the pain in his hamstring after the 21st over. The batter was seen getting treated by physios before he started batting again.

However, the pain didn’t end for him as during the 23rd over, he again felt some discomfort in his hamstring. This happened after he smashed Adil Rashid for a four on the third ball of the over. He played the sweep shot and hit the ball towards the deep mid-wicket for a boundary.
As soon as he got up after playing the sweep and started running, Shubman Gill experienced pain yet again. He was seen limping and catching his right hamstring.
