Rahmat Shah takes stunner to remove David Miller in AFG vs SA clash in CT 2025

Afghanistan National Cricket Team player Rahmat Shah came up with a magical effort on the field during the ongoing game against South Africa National Cricket Team. The third game of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is taking place at the National Stadium in Karachi.

Afghanistan National Cricket Team have pulled back things well after being taken to runs in the initial and middle overs. The Hashmatullah Shahidi-led side has been chipping in with wickets at regular intervals in the death overs, which surely has curbed the run flow.

Afghanistan restrict run flow in the last few overs

Along with decent bowling, the Afghanistan National Cricket Team has lifted their standards in the field as well. One of the best efforts came from Rahmat Shah, who took a sensational catch near the boundary ropes to send David Miller packing early on his innings.

On the last ball of the 48th over, Fazalhaq Farooqi bowled a delivery that was on a fuller length well outside off. David Miller opened up his arms and also opened his bat face slightly to carve it over the cover point. It seemed that the ball would go for a boundary, but Rahmat Shah came up with a stunner.

Rahmat Shah, who was in the deep, ran to his right and kept his eyes on the ball. He put in a stellar dive to pluck out an outstanding one-handed catch with his right hand. The ball was traveling but he made it look simple. What was impressive was he also was aware of the boundary rope.

Rahmat Shah covered a lot of distance and judged it to perfection to send David Miller packing for just 14 runs off 18 balls.
