Tom Schwartz Could Join ‘The Valley’ Cast: ‘Time Will Tell’

Tom Schwartz may be friends with several cast members of Bravo’s hit show “The Valley,” but that doesn’t mean he’s ready to join in a full-time capacity just yet. However, he’s not against the idea.

In a new interview, Tom Schwartz, known for his role in the Bravo series “Vanderpump Rules,” spoke about the next season of “The Valley” and said that viewers could expect to see him pop up now and then. He also addressed the questions about whether or not he’d join the series regularly, seemingly hinting that anything could happen in the future.

While “VPR” was placed on hiatus during the summer of 2024 due to Tom Sandoval’s “Scandoval” affair, the reality star filmed occasional scenes for “The Valley” alongside Scheana Shay and Lala Kent.

Despite that, Schwartz isn’t certain those will lead to him being offered to film the series on a more consistent schedule in the future. However, the “Stars on Mars” contestant remains hopeful. “Time will tell,” he told Us Weekly before revealing his theory regarding Bravo’s direction for the new series.

Even though Schwartz filmed a few scenes for the upcoming season of “The Valley,” which several have teased as intense, he doesn’t know how much he’ll be shown in the episodes.

“They might pepper a little Schwartz in here or there,” he said. “We will see. What I do know, just because they are my friends, and I know what is going on, it is going to be a hell of a season.”

The new batch of episodes doesn’t have a premiere date yet; however, they will showcase the ongoing marital struggles between Cartwright and Taylor, Doute’s pregnancy journey, and the continuing drama between Jesse Lally, Luke Broderick, and a few others.

“Obviously, I wasn’t there all the time. But just from talking to my friends who were on the show, it is going to be a doozy,” Schwartz continued.

Schwartz, Shay, and Kent’s upcoming appearances on “The Valley” will at least keep them on television in 2025.

After two challenging seasons between cast members following the explosive storyline known as “Scandoval,” which revealed the seven-month affair between Sandoval and Raquel Leviss, Bravo announced its plans to reboot the show with an entirely new cast.

Schwartz explained that he was “at peace” with the decision before admitting the group was “toxic” and “fractured.”

Lisa Vanderpump also commented on the stunning move and praised the original cast for giving viewers “12 years” of memorable television.

After “Scandoval” became national news, Schwartz revealed that the negative attention surrounding the situation became too much for him to handle.

On an episode of Taylor and Cartwright’s podcast, “When Reality Hits,” the 42-year-old said that in 2023, he was “taking a break” from his relationship with Sandoval because of the “mess” he made.

“He made a big mess and left for us to clean up. It’s hard for [me] not to be resentful. I’m taking a break from Tom right now. I haven’t spoken to him in a while,” he said.

Following the backlash Sandoval and Schwartz received from the “Scandoval” affair, the reality star revealed that he was nervous about filming another season of the popular Bravo show.

Despite his years of experience in front of the camera, Schwartz was “terrified” about what could occur in the group once they reconnected. “We’ve been through so much with this group, and we’re a volatile crew,” Schwartz confessed.

However, according to the former sandwich bar and lounge owner, their feuds stem from “a place of love.”

“We have a lot of history together, and there’s been trials and tribulations, but it comes from a place of love,” he finished.
