Justin Bieber Slams Reports That He Is ‘Using Hard Drugs’

Justin Bieber has finally broken his silence amid growing fan fears over his disheveled appearance.

The singer was spotted looking gaunt and pale-eyed during one of his recent public outings, sparking speculations from fans that he’d been doing drugs.

However, after several reports about his well-being, a rep for Justin Bieber has slammed the claims,  noting that they are “absolutely not true.”

Bieber has spoken up to address the truth behind his disheveled photos that led fans to speculate he’s doing drugs.

A rep for the “Sorry” hitmaker told TMZ that the rumors are “absolutely not true,” and he’s starting to feel drained by the rumors that he is struggling with his mental and physical health.

“The recurring narrative that Justin is using hard drugs is absolutely not true,” the rep told the news outlet, adding that his client is actually “in one of the best places in his life.”

Bieber is said to be focused on “actively parenting his newborn son” Jack Blues, whom he welcomed in August with his wife, Hailey Bieber, and working on making new music.

The rep added that Bieber, who turns 31 later this week, has endured a “very transformative” past year, in which “he ended several close friendships and business relationships that no longer served him.”

According to TMZ, Bieber’s rep also explained that the singer’s lack of sleep following extended working hours making music was the cause of his rough appearance.

Bieber caused quite a stir online when he was photographed in New York earlier this mont,h where he appeared red-eyed with dark circles around his eyes.

Sources said his weary appearance was the result of restless night recording in the studio, adding that he’d also stayed up “caring for his son who was having trouble falling asleep as well.”

The rep added that the rumors about his mental and physical health are “exhausting and pitiful and show that despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive.”

Bieber’s rep’s statement comes after the Grammy winner intensified rumors of drug use when questionable footage emerged of him.

In the clip, the new dad was seen shifting his weight between each foot, itching his legs, and smiling uncontrollably as he talked with a fan at Hailey’s pop-up store in L.A.

According to the Daily Mail, a source said Hailey was “deeply concerned” for him and doesn’t know “where to turn” for “help,” as Bieber seemingly “doesn’t care about his well-being anymore” has “lost” all “motivation.”

“He’s not working out like he used to, he doesn’t seem to eat like he once did, and people can see he has lost weight,” the insider shared. “It’s like he doesn’t care about his well-being anymore. He’s moodier too. People are worried that he’s lost any motivation, even for his music.”

They continued, “He goes to start recording but then he cancels sessions because ‘he isn’t in the mood.’ It’s like he is struggling to focus on his own songwriting.”

The source went on to share that the Rhode Beauty founder has tried to “help” him, but he “won’t listen” to her, adding that she now doesn’t know “where to turn” as they’re both not close to their respective families.

“Hailey is deeply concerned for Justin,” they said. “He won’t listen to her when she tries to help.”

They added, “Hailey struggles with where to turn. It’s not as if she can ask his family for help – or hers for that matter. They’ve both experienced estrangement from them.”

The “Peaches” singer has previously opened up about his struggles with drug and substance abuse after finding fame as a teenager.

Bieber revealed in an episode of his documentary “Justin Bieber: Sessions” that he first began smoking marijuana when he was “12 or 13.”

He recalled launching into full-blown stardom at 13, saying that the experience caused an “overwhelming transition” of navigating life in the public eye as a teenager.

He eventually started using “pretty heavy drugs” and began relying heavily on marijuana and alcohol.

“My security and stuff would come into my room at night to check my pulse,” he said on his docuseries. “People don’t know how serious it got. It was legit crazy scary. I was waking up in the morning and the first thing I was doing was popping pills and smoking a blunt and starting my day. It just got scary.”

He noted that he eventually had to get sober after feeling like he “was dying.”
