Todd Chrisley’s Son Claims Bar Owner Accused Him Because Of Fame

Todd Chrisley‘s son, Chase Chrisley, has finally spoken out about his arrest after being charged with assault following a heated interaction with a bar owner in Atlanta, Georgia.

According to a police report, Chase had a tense altercation in January 2025 after being asked to leave the “Twin Peaks” bar by the establishment’s manager due to his level of drunkenness.

Per the report, the “Chrisley Knows Best” star “slapped” the victim in the face repeatedly before finally leaving the building, missing law enforcement by a few moments.

In a new interview about the situation, Todd Chrisley’s son, Chase Chrisley, addressed the noise and said none of the allegations are true.

On Monday, January 6, 2025, Atlanta police officers arrived at the “Twin Peaks” bar to address a complaint in which Todd Chrisley’s son was said to have become “really drunk,” causing him to “act very disrespectful and belligerent.”

According to the legal documents, the bar’s manager attempted to get Chase out of the building, and that’s when things took a turn for the worse. Per the victim, the reality TV star “slapped him in the face twice.”

As a result, Chase was charged with “simple assault,” which means the victim didn’t suffer serious injuries and refused medical attention. However, on January 9, it was reported that Chrisley was booked and released on a $10,000 bond.

During a conversation with the DailyMail, the 28-year-old broke his silence regarding the incident and denied all of the claims. According to him, the situation has been “blown out of proportion” due to his status as a reality star.

“I didn’t slap that dude in Atlanta,” he said. “That didn’t happen. If I was [going to] put my hand on somebody, I would get my money’s worth. I wouldn’t just get a slap.”

Chrisley admitted that he could’ve provoked the situation by “talking sh-t;” however, he maintained his previous stance that he didn’t physically assault anyone. “I didn’t put my hands on him,” he continued before saying his last name and famous face sparked the commotion.

“If I wasn’t who I was, that wouldn’t have been a situation,” he said.

Todd Chrisley’s son isn’t the only one dealing with legal issues. Since 2022, Todd and his wife, Julie Chrisley, have been serving a combined prison sentence of 19 years following their guilty convictions on charges of bank fraud and tax evasion.

The couple reported to separate prisons in January 2023, and since then, their children have led the charge trying to get their sentences overturned.

Elsewhere during his conversation with the DailyMail, Chase discussed his parent’s legal issues and claimed they were “targeted” before calling the case complete “bullsh-t.”

“I thought it was bullsh-t,” he said. “I thought we were targeted. I thought it was absolute bullsh-t.”

Since reporting to prison, the Chrisley’s children, including their daughter Savannah Chrisley, have shared updates about their parents’ lives behind bars. In early 2023, Chase shared his belief that the system was “broken” before saying it was “tough” seeing his parents in prison due to the challenging living conditions.

“They got like black mold [where my dad is], and my mom’s place is even worse. I mean, she doesn’t even have air conditioning. They’re in a camp. It’s better than being behind a wall,” he said.

Todd echoed those statements during an interview with Chris Cuomo on NewsNation and described the facility he was assigned to as “so disgustingly filthy.”

He also mentioned that his fellow inmates were malnourished. “The food is literally—I’m not exaggerating—is out of date by minimum a year. They are literally starving these men to death here,” he said. “These men are getting, I don’t know, but they’re getting a thousand calories a day.”

Chase Chrisley revealed during an episode of the “Chasin’ Birdies” podcast that he and his sister take turns going to see their parents, considering they’re imprisoned in different locations.

“Savannah will go see my dad; I’ll go see my moms,” he said. “We’ll rotate, and Savannah will normally take the kids down with her.”

Elsewhere, he called their current family dynamic “tough” before saying they’ve all been impacted by the ongoing legal issues involving their parents.

“Our family loves hard, so when you love somebody as much as we love each other, it’s difficult to see your loved ones in a situation like that,” he said.
