Ibrahim Zadran helps Afghanistan post 325/7 on the board

Opting to bat first in the match, Afghanistan were off to a terrible start as they lost three quick wickets for just 37 runs inside 9 overs. When they looked down and out, Zadran stepped up and played a knock for the ages.

He batted cautiously and tried to put the pressure back on the English team. Zadran kept grinding in the middle and completed his fifty off 65 balls.

After that, he was not satisfied as he knew that Afghanistan needed to post a huge score on a batting-friendly match to have a chance to register a win.

Zadran eventually completed his ton in the 37th over of the innings and pulled off a unique celebration. Then, he decided to launch an attack and took the English bowlers to the cleaners.

Ibrahim Zadran played an attacking brand of cricket and reached the 150-run mark off just 134 balls. He put England under pressure till he stayed in the middle and finished his innings with 177 runs under his belt in 146 balls, with 12 fours and 6 sixes.
