Rising Dallas rapper BigXThaPlug was arrested on Wednesday, Feb. 26, according to TMZ.

Details On BigXThaPlug’s Arrest In Texas: What We Know
Fox4News reports that police stopped BigXThaPlug, whose real name is Xavier Landum, during a traffic stop on Tuesday night, Feb. 25, where they discovered marijuana and a firearm. Officials later charged BigX with less than two ounces of marijuana possession in Texas and detained him at Arlington County Jail.
TMZ shared that Arlington Police informed them about stopping the 26-year-old emcee for driving with expired tags. The officer stated he smelled marijuana while approaching the vehicle and instructed BigX and a passenger, Cleodist Landum, to step out. Authorities also spotted cigarettes, a green leafy substance in the console, and a handgun in the passenger pocket door.
What’s Next For BigXThaPlug & His Reported Relative?
The Dallas News reports that police still have BigXThaPlug in custody as of Wednesday, Feb. 26. A representative for the ‘Climate’ spitter has not addressed the arrest as of yet. X hasn’t commented on the incident on social media. However, he reposted a video on his Instagram Story from PrizePicks showing him on a basketball court Tuesday evening.
Meanwhile, Cleodist Landum believed to be BigX’s relative, had an active felony warrant in Bexar County, Texas. TMZ revealed that officers arrested him, searched him, and allegedly found marijuana. They booked him into Arlington City Jail on the warrant, along with charges of marijuana possession and unlawfully carrying a weapon.
Per the Dallas News, Texas law prohibits carrying a weapon while possessing a controlled substance, including marijuana.
