Box score, stats, game summary and more ft. Kaleb Johnson

Iowa seeks to improve on its bowl position in a trip to a Maryland team fighting to avoid a losing season.

A solid game from running back Kaleb Johnson and an outstanding performance from kicker Drew Stevens gave Iowa the 29-13 win. Johnson rushed for 164 yards on 35 carries and Stevens made five field goals, including kicks from 49, 50 and 54 yards.

Iowa (7-4, 5-3 in Big Ten) came in off a loss to UCLA, but may have solidified a spot as one of the top Big Ten teams aside from the league’s likely quartet of College Football Playoff picks. On the other hand, Maryland (4-7, 1-7 in Big Ten) has lost its last four games and drops from contention for bowl eligibility.
