India National Cricket Team skipper Rohit Sharma was left dejected after the Mumbai batter Sarfaraz Khan got out bizarrely in the game against Australia’s PM XI. The game between the teams took place at the Manuka Oval in Canberra on Sunday (1st December).
India National Cricket Team came up with a sensational effort in the game against Australia’s PM XI. They won the game quite comfortably, but even after that, they continued batting because, as per the conditions of the game, they needed to bat all the desired overs.
Sarfaraz Khan also got opportunity with the bat against Australia’s PM XI, Mumbai batter fails to grab the chance.
This saw Sarfaraz Khan also getting the opportunity with the bat but the Mumbai batter failed to grab the chance as he got out cheaply. The right-hander couldn’t get going and bagged the unusual dismissal in the game against Australia’s Prime Minister’s XI.
Sarfaraz Khan got out to spinner but in a most unfortunate way. The batter tried to play the flick towards the leg side, but the ball caught the outside edge, and he was caught behind by the keeper-batter Sam Harper behind the stumps and had to take a long walk back.
This made skipper Rohit Sharma extremely disappointed. The India National Cricket Team skipper put his head down in frustration and covered his face. He didn’t seem impressed with the way Sarfaraz Khan got out, and his reaction went viral on the internet.

Sarfaraz Khan was back in the hut after scoring just 1 runs off 4 balls. He didn’t feature for the India National Cricket Team in the first game and it is unlikely that he will be playing for the team in the second game, which will be played at the Adelaide from 6th December.
Rohit Sharma didn’t have a great outing with the bat in the game against Australia’s PM XI
Coming to Rohit Sharma, India National Cricket Team skipper also didn’t have a great outing with the bat in the game against Australia’s PM XI. He didn’t come to open the innings as he allowed KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal to take the opening spot.
Rohit Sharma batted at No.4, but it wasn’t the kind of outing he would have wanted with the bat in what was his first outing in Australia. The India National Cricket Team skipper was back in the hut for just 4 runs as he was caught in the slips while chasing a fifth stump ball.
With Rohit Sharma batting at No.4, it is speculated that the India National Cricket Team skipper might bat in the middle order in the second game. He will be sacrificing his batting position for KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal, who slammed 201 runs partnership in the first match.
