Katt Williams Blasts ‘SNL’ For Using a Woman to Mock Him For Years!
Katt Williams is never one to hold back, and his latest target is Saturday Night Live. The comedian, known for his razor-sharp wit and controversial takes, called out the iconic sketch show for repeatedly parodying him without ever inviting him on as a guest.
Speaking onstage at the Vulture Festival in Los Angeles on Saturday, the Friday After Next star, 53, didn’t mince words.
“There has never been a person that has been parodied nine times on Saturday Night Live and yet never been invited other than me,” Williams said. “So, I at this point, take it as a badge of honor that they don’t f–k with me.”
A Woman Playing Katt? Not Amused
When asked about SNL’s impressions of him, Williams took issue with one particular performance — Ego Nwodim’s portrayal of him during a January episode. Nwodim donned a Fendi outfit identical to one Williams wore in his viral Club Shay Shay interview with Shannon Sharpe and mimicked his voice and style.
For Williams, it wasn’t just comedy — it was personal.
“A lot of times when people are doing an impression of you, they’re really showing you how they feel about you,” Williams explained. “So, for *Saturday Night Live* to have an impression of me and have a woman do that, means they think I’m a b****. And I understand that that’s what they’re saying when they do that.”
Despite his frustration, Williams maintained that he’s unbothered by the portrayal.
“It doesn’t bother me at all,” he said. “I understand how the game goes, and I understand that if you love me, you know why you do. And if you don’t f–k with me, I understand why. My job is to be worthy.”
The Viral Interview That Sparked It All
The SNL sketch was inspired by Williams’ viral January interview with Shannon Sharpe, where he made several outlandish claims, sparking widespread chatter online. In the parody, Nwodim as Williams declared, “Three things are true about me. I am 5-feet-3, I have never told a lie and I am 6-feet-3.”
The real interview was no less colorful. Williams alleged that Chris Tucker had visited Jeffrey Epstein’s infamous island and made bold predictions about the downfall of Sean “Diddy” Combs, claiming that “all lies would be exposed” in 2024.
“All of these big-d–k deviants is all catching hell in 2024,” he said during the interview. “It’s up for all of them. It don’t matter if it’s Diddy or whoever you is, [pastor] T.D. Jakes, any of them.”
Turning Down Diddy’s Parties
Williams didn’t hold back when discussing Diddy, even claiming he had declined invitations to the music mogul’s notorious parties to protect his integrity.
“I’ve had to turn down $50 million four times. Just to protect my integrity and that virgin hole I was telling you about, right?” Williams alleged. “Because P. Diddy be wanting to party, and you got to tell him no. You got to tell him no! I did. See, I got the receipts for everything I’m telling you, that’s why I can say them so freely.”
While the comedian’s comments raised eyebrows, they’ve also added fuel to the ongoing fire of speculation surrounding Diddy, whose legal troubles and personal life have been making headlines in recent months.
Katt’s Message: Love Him or Hate Him, He’s Unstoppable
Williams ended his Vulture Festival appearance with a message for his fans and critics alike.
“My job is to be worthy,” he said. “And if you don’t f–k with me, I understand why.”
As the conversation around SNL’s parody and his jaw-dropping claims continues to swirl, one thing is clear: Katt Williams remains as polarizing and unapologetic as ever.
