Halle Bailey and her ex-boyfriend put their differences aside and came together to celebrate the first birthday anniversary of their son Halo on Sunday, where they gifted him a bright red Ferrari.

DDG, born Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., made sure to inform fans about the Cocomelon-themed party via his PontiacMadeDDG YouTube vlog, which left many of them stunned.

In the hour-long video, guests went about the party proceedings as usual, but things heated up when they all went out to the parking lot of the event center, and the camera panned to where a friend drove up the car.

Seated in the luxury Italian sports car, DDG slyly said, “Is this for Halo or for me? I don’t know!”

Meanwhile, Bailey and DDG haven’t been on the best terms since they split back in October. The exes clashed after the rapper featured Halo on Kai Cenat’s Twitch Livestream without her consent.

“Hi everyone. Just so you know I am out of town and I don’t approve of my baby being on a stream tonight,” the “Angel” singer wrote in a since-deleted post on X, per the Daily Mail.

“I wasn’t told or notified and I am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions of people,” the singer continued. “I am his mother and protector and saddened that I wasn’t notified especially when I am out of town.”

In a follow-up statement, she opened up about battling “severe postpartum” and slammed DDG for not respecting her “boundaries.”

“As a woman experiencing severe postpartum, there are boundaries that I wish to be respected. No one knows what someone is going through until they snap,” Bailey wrote.

Shortly after Bailey called out DDG, she garnered the ire of fans as they made sure to slam her for criticizing her baby daddy.

She then issued a follow-up statement, which was also deleted, admitting that she might have “overreacted.”

“Yesterday maybe I did overreact and shouldn’t have brought it here. I know that Halo is always safe with his dad. I just don’t like finding out with the rest of the world what my baby is doing,” she penned.

DDG also defended Bailey by telling off fans who attacked the singer for voicing her concerns.

“One thing I don’t like when people do, I don’t like when people hate on Halle,” he said. “I don’t care if people think she wrong or not, or if I think she wrong or right.”

DDG continued, “She could be going through something mentally after having a kid that I can’t understand as a man.”
