The third edition of SA20, South Africa’s biggest franchise cricket league, is set to commence on January 9, with defending champions Sunrisers Eastern Cape eyeing their third consecutive title.
The Sunrisers will open their campaign against MI Cape Town, promising an electrifying start to the tournament. Over the next month, South Africa will host some of the biggest names in T20 cricket, culminating in the grand finale on February 8.
A star-studded affair
SA20 2025 is poised to feature global cricketing icons, including Liam Livingstone, Dinesh Karthik, Kane Williamson and Rashid Khan. The league’s unique structure, where all six teams face each other twice in the round-robin phase, ensures plenty of high-stakes action before the top four teams progress to the playoffs.
