Yuvraj Singh’s father had revealed by saying, “I took my pistol out and went to Kapil’s house in Sector 9. He came out with his mother. I abused him a dozen times. I told him, ‘I want to put a bullet through your head, but I am not doing it because you have a very pious mother, who is standing here.”

Kapil Dev’s response was blunt, as he acted like he didn’t know his former Indian teammate, leaving everyone stunned. Even after the reporter clarified that the comments were from Yuvraj Singh’s father, the cricketing icon maintained his calm yet indifferent demeanor before his savage response.

In a viral video on Instagram, Kapil Dev replied to paparazzi when asked about Yograj Singh’s comments: “Kaun hai? Kis baat kar rahe ho? Who? Who are you asking about? Later, a reporter clarified that the statement was made by Yuvraj Singh’s father. To which the former Indian captain said, “Acha, aur kuch? (Oh, that’s all?)”.

Please do not compare me with Jasprit Bumrah: Kapil Dev
Earlier, Kapil Dev urged fans and critics not to compare him with Jasprit Bumrah. Recently, Bumrah surpassed Kapil’s record of 51 Test wickets to become India’s leading wicket-taker in Australia. The Indian pacer has so far taken 64 wickets in just 12 matches, including four five-wicket hauls.
Now, Jasprit Bumrah is seen as the next Test captain. However, Kapil acknowledged Bumrah’s exceptional talent, but he stressed that there should not be a comparison between the players from different eras and called it unfair.
The Indian legend stated, “Please do not compare (me with Bumrah); you cannot compare one generation with another.”
