The left-arm fast bowler, surpassed Yuzvendra Chahal to become India’s leading wicket-taker in T20 Internationals, achieving this milestone in his 61st match for India by taking his tally to 97 wickets. This achievement came during a crucial powerplay when Arshdeep dismissed Phil Salt with a sharp bouncer in the first over and followed it up with the wicket of Ben Duckett in the third over, effectively pegging England back early in the game.

With this performance, Arshdeep not only broke Chahal’s record of 96 wickets but also showcased his form and potential, setting his sights on becoming one of the fastest to reach 100 T20I wickets globally.
