Meghan kicked off 2025 with a bang by rejoining Instagram and unveiling the first trailer for her new cooking show, “With Love, Meghan.”

However, things seem to have taken a nosedive for the royal after announcing that her cooking show would be delayed due to the ongoing wildfires ravaging parts of Los Angeles.

Unfortunately, Meghan’s new series is not the only project affected by the devastating wildfires. Sources recently revealed to Hello! Magazine that the Duchess’ podcast has also been postponed.

The podcast, initially hosted on Spotify’s streaming platform, was meant to debut on Lemonada late last year. However, the company reportedly had to pause the release because it was “struggling to get off the starting blocks.”

Now, it has seemingly been pushed back again amid the wildfires.

Shortly after their deal with Spotify fell apart, Harry and Meghan were blasted by an executive at the company who labeled them “grifters.”

According to Page Six, Bill Simmons, the president of Spotify’s foreign sports content, referred to the pair as “f-cking grifters” while discussing his working relationship with the royals.

Simmons also trolled the couple, saying, “I wish I had been involved in the ‘Meghan and Harry leave Spotify’ negotiation. That’s a podcast we should’ve launched with them.”

A source at the time claimed the couple didn’t live up to Spotify’s expectations despite the high hopes at the beginning.

“Although ‘Archetypes’ did well and got a couple of awards, when you go into a deal like this, to have just one series over that course of time is not great,” the source said, per the news outlet.

Amid the devastating L.A. wildfires, Meghan revealed she would delay the release of her Netflix series, “With Love, Meghan.”

In a statement to People Magazine, the Duchess expressed gratitude toward Netflix for supporting her decision to prioritize those affected by the fires in her home state.

“I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in California,” she said.

Shortly after the announcement, Meghan came under fire. People claimed she did not want to be “overshadowed,” hence the delay.

However, a source close to the situation told the news outlet that Meghan found the decision to postpone the series “easy.”

“Delaying the release of With Love, Meghan was likely an easy decision for her,” an insider shared. “I don’t think she could imagine putting out a show centered on joy and hosting when so many people in her home state no longer have homes to host people in.”

Meghan’s new cooking show, originally scheduled to premiere on January 15, has been rescheduled for March 4.
