Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal Recreate When Harry Met Sally Orgasm Scene

Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal are together again and, after much excitement from When Harry Met Sally fans, we finally know the reason for their reunion.

Ryan, 63, and Crystal, 76, reunited for a Super Bowl commercial for Hellmann’s more than 30 years after When Harry Met Sally was released. The pair reprised their roles as Sally Albright and Harry Burns, respectively, at Katz’s Deli — and they even recreated that iconic fake orgasm scene.

“I can’t believe they let us back in this place,” Harry tells Sally, who replies, “Nobody remembers that.” After using Hellmann’s mayonnaise to improve her sandwich, actress Sydney Sweeney made a cameo to deliver the “I’ll have what she’s having” catchphrase.

Ryan and Crystal teased their reunion via Instagram on January 22, sitting beside each other on a couch in a near replica of the set from the couple’s interview scenes in the 1989 romantic comedy.

In 2023, Crystal reflected on his dynamic with Ryan, telling People, “We were thrown together by [Reiner and Ephron], chosen to be this couple and you never know — almost 35 years later, we’re still a couple to everybody.”

Crystal also speculated on the enduring legacy of the beloved rom-com.

“As you get further along and new generations see this movie and feel it and watch it over and over again on Valentine’s Day, on New Year’s Eve, whatever it is,” he continued. “You know, people fall in love every day, and people fall out of love every day. This movie is an evergreen that way. It’s a beautiful thing.”
