More Details On The Superseding Indictment Against Sean “Diddy” Combs
According to CNN, federal prosecutors filed a superseding indictment against Combs, expanding his original indictment to now cite two additional female victims. Per the outlet, the superseding indictment asserts that Combs’ alleged charges of racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution now extend to include two victims cited as “Victim 2” and “Victim 3.”
According to ABC News, the superseding indictment asserts that Combs’ criminal activity began in 2004. This opposes the original date of 2009 listed in the initial indictment against the 55-year-old.
Additionally, the new document asserts that Combs not only committed “violence” against women. He allegedly committed acts against “his employees, witnesses to his abuse, and others.” Per The Hollywood Reporter, the indictment adds that Combs allegedly used substances such as methamphetamine and psychedelic mushrooms to carry out his alleged crimes.
Lastly, prosecutors reportedly asserted that the investigation into Combs “remains active and ongoing.”
“The Government will endeavor to return any further superseding indictment as promptly as possible, mindful of the May 5, 2025 trial date in this case,” prosecutors reportedly wrote in a letter to the judge presiding over Combs’ case on Thursday, January 30, per CNN.
Diddy’s Attorney, Marc Agnifilo, Reportedly Reacts
Per The Hollywood Reporter, Combs’ attorney, Marc Agnifilo, has asserted that prosecutor’s updated document contains “no new offenses” against his client. Instead, Agnifilo maintains that the prosecution’s case against Combs “remains flawed.”
“The government has added the ridiculous theory that two of Mr. Combs’ former girlfriends were not girlfriends at all but were prostitutes,” Agnifilo reportedly stated, per the outlet.
