French President Emmanuel Macron announced Friday that the Olympic balloon and cauldron that became an icon of the Paris Games is set to return to the capital every summer until the 2028 Games in Los Angeles. Macron said the balloon would return to the same Tuileries Gardens where it was launched during the Games, near the Louvre museum.Â
