Star Indian batter Virat Kohli made his return to domestic cricket during the Ranji Trophy 2024-25 match between Delhi and Railways at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. However, an unexpected turn took place on Day 3 (Saturday, February 1), as three fans invaded the field, attempting to meet the Indian cricket star.
This wasn’t the first security breach during the ongoing first-class match in Delhi. On the opening day, January 30, a fan rushed onto the field to meet Virat Kohli while he was fielding in the slips. The fan touched Kohli’s feet before security personnel quickly intervened and escorted him off the field.

Three fans simultaneously invaded the outfield just minutes before the lunch break on Day 3 of the Ranji Trophy match, attempting to meet Virat Kohli again. The fans managed to get close to Kohli, prompting over 20 security personnel to rush onto the field and remove them during an ongoing match.
