Justin Baldoni Shares Intimacy Coordinator’s Handwritten Notes

As the legal battle between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively over “It Ends With Us” intensifies, Baldoni has released handwritten notes from a meeting with an intimacy coordinator, claiming they provide crucial context against Lively’s allegations.

Justin Baldoni shared the notes via a newly launched website, which he previously teased as a platform to defend himself against Lively’s claims.

The first, The Amended Complaint, is the official legal document filed by Baldoni and his production company against Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, detailing accusations of defamation, extortion, and false allegations.

The second, The Case Timeline, provides a chronological account of significant events, starting from Baldoni’s acquisition of the film rights for “It Ends With Us” to the key moments leading up to Lively’s accusations.

Within the documents, there are several text conversations and notes between Justin Baldoni, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, personal trainers, and others involved in the movie project. One standout section includes handwritten notes from an intimacy coordinator.

According to the timeline, Baldoni met with an intimacy coordinator on April 21, 2023, to discuss how the film’s sex scenes would be choreographed. The document emphasizes that Baldoni specifically requested a female intimacy coordinator, ensuring that the scenes would be crafted from a “female gaze” perspective, aligning with the book’s predominantly female audience.

A photo of Baldoni’s handwritten notes from the meeting has also been published on the site, which he claims were shared with Lively during one of their script-writing meetings at her New York residence.

The Notes At The Center Of The Controversy

The lawsuit alleges that Lively later used these notes as the foundation for her sexual harassment complaint.

“These notes would later become the basis for Lively’s Complaint, in which she states that Baldoni would talk about his own sex life and insert gratuitous scenes with Lively’s character orgasming,” the document states.

However, Baldoni’s legal team argues that these references, such as “goes down on her,” “orgasm,” “foreplay,” and “the clit test,” were directly taken from the intimacy coordinator’s professional guidance, not Baldoni’s personal input.

The legal document also asserts that Lively refused to meet with the intimacy coordinator, despite Baldoni’s request for her to speak with the expert directly. Instead, he claims he was left in the “less-than-ideal position” of having to relay the sensitive guidance himself.

“Ideally, these conversations would have taken place directly between Lively and the intimacy coordinator, as Baldoni had requested,” the document reads. “However, Lively declined to meet with her, leaving Baldoni in the position of having to relay these notes to Lively in her penthouse.”

Baldoni has denied the allegations and responded by filing his own lawsuit against Lively, her publicist Leslie Sloan, and Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds. In his legal filing, Baldoni is seeking $400 million in damages, accusing the trio of civil extortion, defamation, false light invasion of privacy, and other claims.

One of Baldoni’s central assertions in his lawsuit is that Lively never met with an intimacy coordinator while filming “It Ends With Us,” despite her claims regarding inappropriate conduct on set.

Baldoni’s release of these documents marks another high-stakes turn in his ongoing dispute with Lively and Reynolds. Last month, Justin Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, released behind-the-scenes footage from the set of “It Ends With Us” in an effort to discredit Blake Lively’s allegations of inappropriate behavior.

The footage shows Baldoni and Lively filming a slow dance montage, a moment Lively previously cited in her claims against him. Baldoni’s legal team argues that the footage contradicts her accusations and portrays the interaction as professional and non-threatening.

With both sides firmly standing their ground, these latest revelations could play a critical role in shaping the case.
