Ye, Formerly Known As Kanye West, Accuses Don Lemon Of Starting Rumor He & Bianca Censori Got Kicked Out Of The Grammys

According to TMZ, on Monday, February 3, Ye took to Instagram to share a now-deleted post of Lemon on his feed. Furthermore, the rapper called out Lemon in the caption of his post.

“This the goofball that started the rumor that me and my wife got kicked out the Grammies… 3 decades of innovating music and they always KOONS like this,” Ye wrote.

To note, Ye appeared to be referring to Page Six‘s viral report asserting the same claims. Furthermore, the report was published amid the ongoing Grammys ceremony. Additionally, it initially cited “sources” informing the outlet that police allegedly escorted Ye and Censori from the premises.

Subsequently, the report was updated to assert that another source shared that the couple “departed” on “their own volition.”

Don Lemon Claps Back

On Monday, January 3, Lemon responded to Ye’s post with a video post of his own shared via Instagram. In the clip, Lemon said, “Kanye — Ye… whatever your name is, I did not start a rumor about you being kicked out of the Grammys. I actually corrected it.”

Furthermore, Lemon went on to explain that a member of Ye’s team allegedly asked him to help dispel the rumor.

“So, first of all, get your s**t straight,” Lemon added. “And you, of all people, calling me a coon?… Negro. That ‘Make American Great Again’ hat must be too tight on your head.”

To note, Lemon did take to his TikTok account on Sunday, January 2, to share a clip alleging Ye “may” had been escorted out of the event.
