Here’s What Alexis Skyy Said About The Footage Of Her & Others Apparently Assaulting Anthony Gaskin
On Thursday, January 23, The Shade Room posted footage initially obtained by fellow Instagram user @livebitez. The footage appeared to show a recent livestream of Skyy’s. In the clip, she spoke about her and Gaskin’s relationship and the now-viral footage.
“Anthony was not my best friend and was never my best friend — number one,” she stated.
Furthermore, Skyy explained that she allegedly met Gaskin at a hair salon, and he offered to be her assistant. At that time, she explained that she did not research his “history.” However, she allegedly opened her “doors” and her home to Gaskin.
“…After several people in the industry have called me… and told me to stay away from you,” Skyy said, referring to Gaskin. “And I let you live with me for six months, okay?”
During this time, Skyy alleged that Gaskin stole her items and wrongly used her credit card. Before the clip concluded, Skyy said that she’s initiated legal action against Gaskin for all of his alleged wrongdoing.

On Friday, January 24, The Shade Room published exclusive statements obtained from both Skyy and Gaskin on the matter. Skyy explained that she’s “not proud” of how the footage makes her “look.” Additionally, she expressed that it’s “unfair” that only one incident has been shown.
Meanwhile, Gaskin’s legal team stated that he will be “dealing with this matter in due course.”

As The Shade Room previously reported, the alleged incident between Skyy and Gaskin initially made headlines in October 2024. At the time, Gaskin took to TikTok to accuse Skyy and two others of attacking him in an apartment lobby.
Furthermore, Gaskin alleged that he was punched, kicked, and left with a fractured rib, displaced teeth, and black eyes.
In response, Skyy alleged Gaskin was “playing victim” when he was actually the aggressor in a separate physical altercation.
Then, on Thursday, January 23, footage surfaced of Skyy and other individuals apparently attacking Gaskin.
