Ally Lewber EXPOSES What Really Went Down the Night of James Kennedy’s Arrest for Domestic Violence & CONFIRMS They Broke Up!
Ally Lewber and James Kennedy have officially called it quits, just months after the Vanderpump Rules alum was arrested for a shocking domestic violence incident that made headlines.
On January 22, Ally, 29, addressed the breakup in a statement on her Instagram Story, shedding light on the night of the incident and confirming their split. The Burbank City Attorney’s Office ultimately dropped charges against James, 32, after the alleged altercation, which was tied to his drinking.
“Thank you all for your support and kindness. I am happy that prosecutors decided not to file against James, as I never desired criminal charges,” Ally explained.
“We had an argument outside of his home related to him drinking again, however, I was not physically hurt. I was shocked by the headlines and disheartened by how the event was portrayed.”
Ally also clarified that despite the breakup, she would continue to support James in his journey. “We are no longer together, but I’ll always support James and wish him the best with his sobriety and healing,” she added. “Thank you for your understanding.”
There had been reports of Ally moving out more of her belongings after the incident, further confirming the end of their relationship. In December, James had issued his own statement regarding the legal drama, reassuring his followers that he was focused on making positive changes in his life.
“I am taking time to focus on my sobriety, personal growth, and being present for my loved ones,” he wrote on December 17.
“Navigating challenging moments is not easy, but I am determined to learn, grow, and move forward with the incredible support system around me.”
Vanderpump Rules will return to Bravo for its 12th season with an all-new cast later this year.
