Bayern Munich have posted footage of Harry Kane running at their Sabener Strasse training ground as the Bundesliga top scorer recovers from a muscle tear in the back of his right thigh.
The problem caused England captain Kane to miss Bayern’s 1-0 defeat at home to Bayer Leverkusen in the round of 16 of the DFB Cup on Tuesday.
Bayern are unbeaten in the league and four points clear of second-placed Eintracht Frankfurt before Die Roten host Heidenheim on Saturday (2.30pm GMT).

Harry Kane injury latest
Kane sustained the injury during Bayern’s 1-1 draw at Borussia Dortmund in Der Klassiker on November 30, leaving the pitch after 33 minutes.
The 31-year-old former Tottenham talisman missed the last two games of his debut season with the German giants in 2023/24 because of a back injury.
While Kane’s return may not be urgent against third-bottom Heidenheim, his involvement could be crucial when Bayern face Shakhtar Donetsk in Gelsenkirchen in the Champions League on Tuesday (8pm).
Harry Kane stats
After producing 44 goals and 12 assists in 45 appearances last season, Kane has been prolific during his first 19 games of 2024/25.
He needs to set up three more goals to match that assist tally and has notched 14 times in the Bundesliga – one more than nearest rival Omar Marmoush, of Frankfurt.

Five Champions League goals and one in the DFB Cup put Kane on a total of 20, although four of his strikes in Europe came during his club’s 9-2 opening home drubbing of Dinamo Zagreb.
Kane goals: A mini-drought?
Kane’s average of 1.3 goals per 90 minutes in the German top flight outshines Marmoush’s figure of 1.16, with the pair the only players with more than five goals to average at least 0.9 a game.
The Three Lions record scorer has, however, failed to net in four of his last five club appearances in all competitions, having been on a run of seven goals in five games before then.
The exception was Bayern’s 3-0 league win at home to Augsburg on November 22, when Kane scored all of their goals for his fourth hat-trick of the campaign.
