Call of Duty raises $1.6M for LA fire relief through gamer in-app purchases

Activision said it has raised $1.6 million for LA Fire Relief as a result of gamer purchases of the in-game pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty Warzone.

All of the proceeds will be split between the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation (LAFD) and Direct Relief, said Activision, a part of Activision Blizzard, which is now owned by Microsoft.

This is in addition to Activision’s previous $1 million donation, bringing the total fire relief contribution to $2.6 million. It’s great to see Call of Duty community for their support, which will make a real impact for those who were affected by the LA fires. Streamers have also done their part raising money for fire victims.
