Chad: Regional security is a key concern of voters in the election




Chad’s President has set January 31st as the deadline for the complete withdrawal of french troops from the country. In November Djamena gave the soldiers just 6 weeks to leave after abrubtly ending the military cooperation between the nations. Some Chadian are worried about how the exit of French troops will impact the pushback to a regional security crisis. The issue was a key concern of voters in the weekend’s election.
