The initial maintenance break occurred on December 19, 2024, at 8:30 am (UTC+0). It was supposed to address the following bugs:
- Even after applying snow to obstacles, the snowfall effect wasn’t taking place.
- Moving or taping on obstacles was causing incorrect sounds.
- Builder Apprentice’s recurrent job on Heroes wasn’t working when players were going offline for a long duration.
- Lab Assistant wasn’t working when players were logging in to the game.
Supercell made a post about this maintenance break and the issues it was supposed to address on the title’s social media handles. The developer stated it would try to make the break as brief as possible.
After 40 minutes, the title’s servers were back online. Supercell informed players about this on social media, asking them to install an optional 16.654.16 update, which would fix all the bugs.
The situation took an unexpected turn when those who installed this update came across new bugs that affected the trophy count mechanic in multiplayer raids. Supercell announced an emergency maintenance break to address the problems, which as been going on for over two hours now.
