For famed actress Vanessa Hudgens, the past year has been eventful to say the least. Apart from getting married, Hudgens also got the opportunity to experience the joys of motherhood for the first time.
In a post on Instagram, Hudgens highlighted how fast her hair is growing. Captioned by the phrase, “can’t get over my hair growth”, Hudgens showcased her trademark jet-black curls.

Over the summer, Hudgens and her husband Cole Tucker became parents for the first time. In September, Hudgens showed off her hair loss as a result of postpartum symptoms. Thankfully, the changes were far from permanent, and the 35 year-old has her trademark look back.
Hudgens captured hearts and minds around the world for her memorable role as Gabriella Montez in High School Musical. Following the production, Hudgens began dating co-star Zac Efron. The pair dated from 2005 until their breakup in 2010.
From 2011 until 2019, Vanessa Hudgens was in a relationship with fellow actor Austin Butler. In 2020, after her break with Butler, Hudgens began dating Cole Tucker, who was an infielder in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization at the time.

On Monday, Tucker and Hudgens celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary. The ceremony occured in Tulum, Mexico in front of an intimate gathering of family and friends. Over the summer, the pair welcomed their first child but have been careful to shield the young one from media attention.
Cole Tucker, now a free agent, played 24 games with the Los Angeles Angels in 2024. In that period, the 28 year-old hit .180/.263/.300 with 3 RBIs.
Vanessa Hudgens and Cole Tucker seek privacy as new parents
Despite the fact that both Hudgens and Tucker are public figures, they decided not to reveal details about their child after the birth in the summer. After it was revealed that some members of the media had snapped some surreptitious snaps, Hudgens hit back, writing on Instagram in July:
“We’re disappointed that our family’s privacy was disrespected and exploited during this very special time, due to the greed of a long lens camera feeding the media.”
Motherhood can be challenging even when you are not a celebrity. To Hudgens’ credit, she appears to be handling the new chapter seamlessly.
