According to Complex, in August 2023, Gotti appeared on ‘Drink Champs.’ At the time, he seemingly implied that Dash did not contribute to the musical success of Roc-A-Fella records. Instead, Gotti said Dash and others were just “along for the ride.”
“I don’t give a f**k about what Dame Dash says,” Gotti reportedly told the podcast hosts amid the conversation.

In September 2023, Dash reacted to Gotti’s comments on ‘The CEO Show,’ per HotNewHipHop.
“Irv is my brother, so sometimes I worry about his mental health. What I see him doing is celebrating, taking his artists’ masters and selling them and saying, ‘You know, this is how I make my money,’ and that’s the furthest thing that I would ever do with any one of my artists,” Dash reportedly explained at the time.
