Diddy Accusers’ Lawyers Slam Nikki Glaser Over ‘Freak Off’ Jokes

Nikki Glaser has received criticism from Sean “Diddy” Combs accusers’ attorneys after she made a joke about the embattled rapper’s infamous parties during her monologue at the Golden Globes.

One of the lawyers noted that jokes like the one Glaser shared at the ceremony are “why so many sexual assault victims never come forward and report their abuse.”

Previously, Nikki Glaser got called about by viewers watching the Golden Globes, with many describing her joke as “pathetic” and “horribly messed up.”

Glaser is still facing backlash over her Diddy “Freak Off” joke, this time from two lawyers representing several of the rapper’s accusers.

According to TMZ, attorney Ariel Mitchell criticized the Golden Globes host, saying she was surprised the stand-up comic would make such remarks despite Glaser being a woman.

“Making light of this ugly situation is exactly why so many sexual assault victims never come forward and report their abuse,” said Mitchell, who represents one of the alleged victims, Ashley Parham.

Parham had claimed that Diddy violently gang-raped her as retaliation for a diss she made about the rapper’s alleged involvement in Tupac Shakur’s murder.

Meanwhile, Tyrone Blackburn, another lawyer representing several of Diddy’s accusers, expressed disappointment with Glaser, saying he had expected her to be capable of “finding humor that doesn’t make light of drugging and rape.”

Tyrone Blackburn represents Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, who claimed Diddy forcibly touched him as they worked on his 2023 album.

Despite it being her first time hosting the Golden Globes, Glaser didn’t hold back in delivering her jokes during her monologue at the event’s opening.

After making some jokes about other attendees, Glaser turned her attention to actress Zendaya, whom she praised for her role in the film “Challengers.”

“Zendaya is here – Zendaya, you were incredible in Dune. Oh, my God, I woke up for all. And Challengers, girl? Oh, my God, that was so good,” she said, per the Daily Mail.

Then, out of the blue, she made a joke about Diddy’s sexual scandal before doubling down on it in response to the audience’s reaction.

“That movie was more sexually charged than Diddy’s credit card,” Glaser continued, “I’m sorry, I’m upset, too. The afterparty isn’t gonna be as good this year. But we have to move on… ‘Stanley Tucci freak-off” doesn’t have the same ring to it. No baby oil this year, just lots of olive oil.”

On social media, viewers who had watched the ceremony criticized Glaser for making light of such a sensitive subject.

One user said, “The issue with these Diddy jokes is that [people] swear up and down they’re poking fun of the abusers, but in reality, it’s poking fun at the abuse the victims went through. He abused so many which included children. Nikki Glaser is already painfully unfunny but this is, pathetic and gross.”

Someone else commented, “OK, Nikki Glaser should seriously be barred from awards like this for such a HORRIBLY MESSED UP joke. It is completely insensitive to SA victims who’ve been through such awful experiences with this vile man.”

Another viewer wrote, “I didn’t know who Nikki Glaser was before today I want to never hear about her again hopefully this Diddy joke kills any stand she was getting.”

Diddy’s next court appearance is expected to be on March 17. The topic of the hearing remains unclear, but it is not expected to be a bail hearing, as the rapper had previously withdrawn a bail appeal he had filed.

The withdrawal came after the rapper was denied bail for the third time, which reportedly caused him to suffer a breakdown over the festive season.

At the moment, he remains in detention ahead of his federal trial on May 5, 2025, where he will be tried on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

If he is ultimately found guilty of the sex crime charges, he could face life in prison if the maximum sentence is imposed.

Diddy experienced a less-than-luxurious Christmas and New Year at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center.

According to People Magazine, the embattled rapper was served steak and cheese subs on hot dog buns on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. Baked potatoes, green beans, and margarine were also on the side.

This is a huge contrast from the typically lavish meals the music mogul had grown accustomed to.

On New Year’s Day, Diddy ate either a chicken sandwich or a chickpea burger with pinto beans and rice, corn, and mayonnaise.

The report about his holiday meals came after it was revealed that the rapper looked “astonishingly thinner” and “grayer” during his last court appearance.
