Dolores Catania Admits ‘RHONJ’ Is Done, SLAMS Cast for Letting Egos Destroy the Show!
The future of The Real Housewives of New Jersey is over after Bravo hit the brakes and put the show “on pause” following an explosive Season 14. Dolores Catania, a fan favorite who joined in Season 7, isn’t holding back as she spills the tea on what really brought the once-iconic franchise to its knees.
Dolores has seen her fair share of Jersey drama, but even she admits that the cast’s egos and endless feuds have spiraled completely out of control.
In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Dolores revealed that the show has not been filming. “We didn’t film last season, so we’re not coming back. We’re not going to be airing in January or February,” she confirmed.
Expressing her frustration, she added, “Of course, I’d look forward to seeing my cast come back on the screen or even come back to film, but they made a mess. I’m a little mad that everybody couldn’t get it together. I really am.”
The tension among the cast reached its peak during the Season 14 finale, and even Bravo skipped hosting a reunion for the first time in the show’s history. Dolores shared her determination to mend relationships before the final blow.
“On my way to that finale, I spoke to a therapist and asked her for some tips on going in and speaking to the women. I wrote it down in the car ride on the way there,” she explained. “And no matter what I did on and off camera, nothing helped. You could see I was defeated. I sat there and I knew you wouldn’t be seeing us for a while, I saw it coming.”
Despite the pause, Dolores remains hopeful about the possibility of a comeback. “I know I would [return]. I think that given some time for things to cool down, maybe they would try to do that too,” she said.
“It’s time to put egos aside. You don’t throw something like this away. We had great ratings. We did well—we just have to learn how to act. This is what life is. It’s about fighting and making up.”
While the future of RHONJ remains uncertain, Dolores’ candid reflections highlight the deep fractures that have shaken the franchise and the hope that time and perspective might bring the cast back together. Fans will have to wait to see if the Jersey girls can find a way to move forward.
