Dorit Kemsley Reveals She Was Blindsided and Terrified by PK’s Nine-Page Email!
Dorit Kemsley is shedding new light on PK’s “scary” custody threats and the shocking nine-page email, walking back her claim about him being a bad dad on RHOBH—but admits she was completely “blindsided.”
In the February 4 RHOBH: After Show, Dorit revisited the emotional moment when she slammed PK’s parenting, explaining that her judgment was clouded by the intense emotions she was feeling at the time. “When you’re going through a difficult time, you go through a range of emotions, and in that moment, I had just gotten a really difficult, nine-page email. It wasn’t just blindsided. It was like, ‘Who are you?’ Who is this person?’” Dorit explained.
“You start to question everything.”
The email’s contents, including threats related to custody, left Dorit feeling shocked and scared. “I don’t know what he’s capable of. I don’t know what he’s gonna do,” she continued.
“He had mentioned things in there that I would never in a million years believe would come out of his mouth. And that is scary sht, and you think, ‘Holy sht, that means anything is possible.’ What do I have ahead of me? And when you’re already in the dark, and then you actually can get to a place where you think that absolute worst, that is a mother-effing scary AF place to be.”
When asked if PK was a “good father,” Dorit initially said “No,” but later clarified, stating, “Do I think PK is a bad father? No, not at all. Do I think he’s a good father? Yes, I do. Truly.”
She acknowledged that while PK isn’t the most hands-on parent, she still believes their children are lucky to have him. Reflecting on her harsh words, Dorit admitted she regretted them the next day, especially after receiving a threatening nine-page email from PK, which she described as unlike any other communication she had received from him.
“I had never received a threatening email like that, ever,” she said, noting that although they had previously discussed finances, she had never faced such custody-related threats. “I have received bitter, threatening, you know, in-the-heat-of-the-moment texts and emails when we’ve fought. Never like this.”
Bozoma, in the After Show, advised Dorit to trust her instincts, especially when it came to PK’s threats. “It’s like, believe them the first time. There’s no need for a second time, the first time they threaten, believe them,” she said.
