Nitish Kumar Reddy became the third youngest player from India to slam a century in Australia, after the likes of Sachin Tendulkar and Rishabh Pant. The right-hander oozed his class with the bat and what caught the attention of many was he almost middleed every ball that he played.

In what was a special moment, Nitish Kumar Reddy brought his century in front of his family. The focus was mainly on his father as the senior Reddy was in tears after his son reached the maiden Test ton for the India National Cricket Team in the longest format of the game.

The wholesome moment for Nitish Reddy came when his family met him in the hotel. In a video posted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the cricketer’s father can be seen hugging him and crying in joy while meeting his son. He also hugged his mother and sister.
He said: “Nitish played very well today, I’m proud of him. We have struggled a lot. We are thankful to the Indian cricket team.”
Her sister said it’s not an easy journey for the cricketer. “All I could say is we are very proud and very happy. My brother said it and he did it.”
