India will be high on confidence going into the match against Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025

India National Cricket Team will be high on confidence going into the match as they started the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 on high. The Rohit Sharma-led side defeated the Bangladesh National Cricket Team by 6 wickets in their opening encounter and ticked most of the boxes right.

Pakistan National Cricket Team, on the other hand, didn’t have a great start to their tournament as they faced a loss against the New Zealand National Cricket Team. The game against the Rohit Sharma-led side will be a virtual eliminator for them, and hence, they would be keen to bag the win.

However, Indian players are making sure that they put in extra effort to prepare for the match against Pakistan. There were reports that it was Virat Kohli who arrived first at the session, and it was learned that he arrived 3 hours before the scheduled practice time.

Players involved in a team huddle before the net session for Pakistan clash in ICC Champions Trophy 2025

Virat Kohli reportedly called some of the best UAE bowlers to get ready for the important clash. The right-hander didn’t have a great outing with the bat in the first game against Bangladesh, as he batted pretty slow and couldn’t carry on the start that he got.

Virat Kohli was followed by Shubman Gill and others, who then came to the ground an hour earlier. The India National Cricket Team players then had a team huddle before they began their net sessions ahead of the Pakistan clash in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

Win against Pakistan will almost book a place in the semi-final

The last time two arch-rivals played against each other in the ICC Champions Trophy was during the final of the 2017 edition. It saw Men in Green thumping the opposition, but after that, the majority of the games between the two teams have been won by the Rohit Sharma-led side.

A win for the India team against Pakistan will almost book a place in the semi-final. After the match against arch-rivals, the Rohit Sharma-led side will be playing against the New Zealand National Cricket Team on 2nd March at the Dubai International Stadium.
