Harmanpreet Kaur mocks ‘loud’ Chinnaswamy crowd by closing her ears during RCB-W vs MI-W clash

Mumbai Indians skipper Harmanpreet Kaur is having a great time on the field in the ongoing game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The 7th match of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 is taking place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Mumbai Indians had a decent time with the ball in the ongoing match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side has taken wickets at regular intervals and has put the opposition under massive, not letting them score big.

However, fans at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru make sure that they don’t let their team face the pressure. The Stadium was buzzing with fans chanting “RCB RCB”. The noise in the stadium was so much that Mumbai Indians skipper Harmanpreet Kaur was left amazed by it.

After the end of the 13th over, the atmosphere at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium was something that had never been witnessed in the Women’s game. This made Harmanpreet close her ears as she couldn’t resist the noise. Not only the Mumbai Indians skipper but also Richa Ghosh, who was batting, closed her ears.

Ellyse Perry plays a brutal knock

The support of the crowd worked in favor of Ellyse Perry as the Australian all-rounder came up with a magical effort with the bat. The right-hander continued his golden form and slammed a brilliant half-century that allowed Royal Challengers Bengaluru to post a competitive total on the board.

Ellyse Perry played a brutal hand 81 runs off 43 balls. The all-rounder batted with a strike rate of over 188 and also slammed 11 fours and 2 sixes in her innings. Richa Ghosh (28) also played a vital hand as RCB posted a total of 167 runs on the board.

Harmanpreet Kaur and her team would be confident of chasing the target and registering their second win of the WPL 2025

For Mumbai Indians, Amanjot Kaur was the pick of the bowlers as she returned with the figures of 3/22. Apart from her, Shabnim Ismail, Nat Sciver-Brunt, Hayley Matthews, and Sanskriti Gupta also picked one wicket each as they restricted hosts to under 170 runs.

Harmanpreet Kaur and her team would be confident of chasing the target. They lost the first game of the WPL 2025 against Delhi Capitals by the barest margin. But after that, made a strong comeback in the second game, beating Gujarat Giants.

If Mumbai Indians have to fancy their chances of winning the ongoing game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, skipper Harmanpreet Kaur will have to play a major role. The captain has looked in decent touch and would be keen to help her team win the second game of the season.
