Hilary Swank Posts Rare Photo Of One Of Her Twins

Actress Hilary Swank celebrated the holidays with a heartwarming Instagram post that addressed caregivers and those dealing with loss.

The 50-year-old actress, who welcomed twins Ohm and Aya in April 2023, shared a rare photo of one of her kids.

Swank, known for leading a private life, previously defended her decision to have kids later in her life after enjoying a successful career in Hollywood.

In addition to the post, she shared a rare picture of one of her twins. The snapshot showed the actress wearing a red sweater with khaki pants.

Swank smiled as she posed in front of a family Christmas tree. She stood next to one of her kids, who wore only a diaper and played with one of the tree’s ornaments.

However, the picture didn’t reveal the toddler’s face.

In the post’s caption, Swank wished her followers “Happy Holidays” and expressed gratitude for her Instagram community.

She wished everyone a “restful and restorative time” as they dealt with their daily activities.

The “Million Dollar Baby” actress also wrote, “Feeling so connected to all the caregivers out there who keep so many balls in the air and have little time for themselves.”

Swank, who lost her dad in 2021, also had a message for those dealing with the loss of a loved one. She wrote, “As well as anyone navigating loss in any way. Grieving is hard work, especially this time of the year. Massive love to you all.”

She told the show’s co-hosts she was delighted to share the news and added, “This is something that I’ve been wanting for a long time, and my next thing is I’m gonna be a mom. And not just of one but of two.”

Swank admitted that she couldn’t believe she was going to be a mother. She later appeared on “Live With Kelly and Ryan” and said per Page Six, “I’m feeling great right now.”

News of Swank’s pregnancy delighted her fans as she had previously spoken of her desire to have kids.

In 2006, she told People, “I definitely would like kids someday. That’s definitely something that I’ve always thought about as a very, very young girl.”

On April 9, 2023, Hilary Swank announced that she and her husband, Philip Schneider, had welcomed twins.

She made the announcement via a post on Instagram, where she shared a photo of her holding her newborn babies — a boy and a girl — to her chest while looking at a sunset.

In the post’s caption, Swank wrote, “It wasn’t easy. But boy (and girl!) was it worth it. Happy Easter! posting from pure Heaven.”

She added, “It’s just something I thought about even as a young girl. It’s something that was on my mind, so it’s nice to be here and just be pregnant.”

Swank married Schneider in August 2018. Vogue described their wedding, which was held at the Santa Lucia Preserve in Carmel, California, as a “timeless” ceremony. The lovebirds dated for a year and a half before getting engaged in 2016.

Schneider is Swank’s second husband. She was previously married to actor Chad Lowe. Swank and Chad married in September 1997 but announced their divorce in January 2006. The former couple finalized their divorce in November 2007.
