As a shopping writer, I spend eight hours a day researching the best gifts spanning beauty, fashion and wellness. And I can’t help but jot down the items I really want so I can tell my family exactly what to gift me when my birthday or the holidays roll around. After weeks of writing about the best gifts and holiday sales, I’ve compiled the ultimate wishlist containing impressive beauty and fashion finds any woman would be happy to unwrap this year (including myself).

We know how difficult gift shopping can be, especially for someone like your mother who “already has everything” she needs by “being your mother”. Yes, the sentiment is sweet, but it doesn’t make nailing down a gift any easier. Try taking the pressure off of yourself though — the best gifts are thoughtful and personal…they […]

This season, I’m adding practical gifts that I can utilize daily instead of ones that are cool to unwrap but hardly get any use throughout the year. You’ll have to scroll to get the full scoop, but a couple of spoilers on my holiday wishlist are new pajamas (one can never have too many), makeup artist-approved makeup and rich mom-looking workout sets. Keep reading to discover what I’m asking Santa for this year.

1. Makeup Artist-Approved Blush: This Mini Baby Cheeks Blush Trio from Westman Atelier is at the top of my list! Each one of the blushes offers a beautiful color payoff that gives your complexion an instant glowing look — $60 at Sephora!

2. New Uggs: I always end up squeezing every ounce of life out of my Uggs, and this season, it’s time for an upgrade. I’ve been coveting the brand’s low-profile boots that pair well with anything, especially all of my rich mom-looking pilates sets — $150 at Nordstrom!

3. Stunning Western Boots: Speaking of boots, I can’t be the only one who has been leaning heavily into the Western trend this year. I love the craftsmanship of these Tecovas The Annie boots. They feature a tall profile and classic tonal stitching pattern that elevates the shaft of the boot — $345 at Tecovas!

4. Chunky Heart Necklace: I can’t stop thinking about this heart necklace ever since I saw it in-store at Uncommon James. It boasts an intertwined chain woven with a paperclip design and decorated with a bold heart pendant — $72 at Uncommon James!

5. Luxurious Pajamas: You can never have too many pairs of luxe pajamas, and I plan to receive as many as I can this holiday season. The Sunday Sateen Short Pajamas from PJ Salvage are comfortable and chic. The set comes with a long-sleeve top and elastic waist shorts — $80 (originally $112) at Nordstrom!

6. French Girl Tote Bag: My beloved Longchamp bag has seen better days — that’s why I plan to snag a new Le Pliage Original M Tote Bag before the end of the year. I waited too long to snag the cherry red hue, but the steel color is equally stunning — $145 at Longchamp!

7. Soothing Body Wash: The Salt & Stone Body Wash doesn’t just cleanse skin, it also softens and soothes skin thanks to the included antioxidants. I appreciate that it’s free of sulfates and parabens — $29 (originally $36) at Amazon!

8. Rich Mom Pilates Gear: My current hyper-fixation is Vuori’s comfy chic activewear. I live in the brand’s daily leggings that are perfect for pairing with ballet flats and an oversized sweater — $89 at Vuori!

9. Noise-Cancelling Headphones: I’ve been an AirPod girlie for years — it’s so easy to pop them in while exercising or taking calls at home. But lately, this bestselling pair of headphones has been calling my name. The noise-cancelling headphones come in several neutral yet chic colors — $350 at Amazon!
