India Playing 11 vs New Zealand- ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Match 12

India will be up against New Zealand in their final group game of the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The game is scheduled to be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday (March 2).

The Men in Blue have already booked their spot in the semifinals of the tournament and will be looking to end the group stage on a winning note. India began their campaign with a six-wicket win over Bangladesh before beating Pakistan with a similar margin.

Just like India, New Zealand have also won both of their group games and will be eyeing another win. So, as India and New Zealand look to extend their unbeaten run, we are taking a look at the India Playing 11 for the IND vs NZ game.

India Playing 11 vs New Zealand- ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Match 12:

Openers: Rohit Sharma (c), Shubman Gill

Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill are set to be the openers in the India Playing 11 for the upcoming game against New Zealand. After sharing a fifty-plus stand against Bangladesh, Rohit and Gill shared 31 runs for the opening wicket against Pakistan.

They will be keen to stitch a big partnership in the upcoming game against New Zealand. Rohit was out for 20 runs against Pakistan while Gill followed his century against Bangladesh with a 46-run knock. Both Gill and Rohit have looked in good touch in the competition and will be eyeing a big score against the Black Caps.

Middle-order batsmen and allrounders: Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Axar Patel, KL Rahul (wk), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja

Virat Kohli roared back to form with a stunning match-winning century against Pakistan. The former India batsman anchored the innings beautifully and ensured that India crossed the finishing line without too many setbacks. He scored an unbeaten 100 against Pakistan and will be eyeing another big knock.

Shreyas Iyer also continued his fine form with the bat by scoring a half-century. The right-handed batsman scored 56 runs and will be looking to impress with the bat against New Zealand as well. KL Rahul did not get the chance to bat against Pakistan.

Axar Patel, Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja are set to be the three all-rounders in the India Playing 11 for the upcoming game. While they did not have much to do with the bat, they made sure to contribute with the ball. Pandya picked up 2 wickets while Jadeja and Axar claimed 1 wicket each.

Bowlers: Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh/Mohammed Shami, Kuldeep Yadav

The Indian bowling lineup could see at least one change. Arshdeep Singh could return to the India Playing 11 if the Indian team-management decides to rest Mohammed Shami. The veteran fast-bowler had to walk off the field briefly after needing some treatment on the field.

He later returned to the field but did not bowl his full quota of 10 overs. Even if Shami’s injury is not serious, the team management will not want to take any risk given that he recently returned to action after a lengthy injury layoff.

With a place in the semifinal already sealed, India might rest Shami and recall Arshdeep Singh. On the other hand, the likes of Harshit Rana and Kuldeep Yadav are expected to retain their spots in the India Playing 11. Kuldeep picked up 3 wickets against Pakistan while Rana claimed 1.
