Jason Kelce was in for a show when he went to a palm reader ahead of the 2025 Super Bowl.

“Been down in New Orleans since Tuesday enjoying this fine city!!” Kelce, 37, wrote via X on Sunday, February 9. “Can’t wait for an incredible game tonight, I could see it going either way. One of the things i went to was a palm reader, who had some insights potentially on things to come in this game… what does it mean?”

Alongside his message, Kelce shared a video of him picking a card from a deck being held by the palm reader. After Kelce chose the card that read, “The Fool,” the palm reader explained that meant, “Someone new that hasn’t done it before.”

Kelce’s jaw dropped at the sentiment before exclaiming, “Woah.” Kelce theorized that the card could be referring to Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, who joined the NFL team in 2024. Kelce also suggested that sentiment could be pointing at Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts.

Jason Kelce is laughing off the idea of cheering for the Philadelphia Eagles at the 2025 Super Bowl in front of brother Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift. “We have seen for the last two years now, many times [the] Kansas City [Chiefs] score a touchdown, particularly if it’s your brother. Taylor Swift in the booth, […]

“Jalen’s been there,” Jason pointed out, referring to the 2023 Super Bowl, where the Eagles lost to Jason’s brother, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs. “Saquon’s never been there.”

As Jason thought about the card further, he realized that the Chiefs are vying for a history-making win. (The Chiefs are hoping to become the first NFL team to win their 3rd consecutive Super Bowl, after winning back-to-back in 2023 and 2024.)

“They’re going for a 3-peat, too. That’s never been done before, either,” Jason said, as he placed his hands on his hips and looked up at the ceiling. “Maybe we had this all wrong.”

After the palm reader asked Jason whether he wanted “more clarification,” the former Eagles center picked another card from the deck. This time, the card read, “The Chariot,” which the palm reader explained meant, “Traveling a long way. It’s been a bumpy road so far. However, steamrolling.”

The 2025 Super Bowl stadium will be filled with several of Travis Kelce’s biggest cheerleaders – including Taylor Swift. “I think everybody’s coming,” Jason Kelce told People in an interview published on Tuesday, February 4. “I mean, I don’t want to speak for everybody, but I think obviously, our whole family. “I mean, the Eagles have been steamrolling,” Jason said. “Gosh, I think it’s Saquon.”

While Jason may not have gotten a clear answer on who the cards were referring to, the former NFL player will get a front-row seat of the game held at New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome. Ahead of the 2025 Super Bowl, Jason revealed that his and Travis’ loved ones were scheduled to attend the game — including Taylor Swift.

“I think everybody’s coming,” Jason told People in an interview published Tuesday, February 4. “I mean, I don’t want to speak for everybody, but I think obviously, our whole family. I believe, obviously Trav and Taylor, and his family and his friends. I mean, Trav always travels, like, full.”

Jason noted that Travis, 35, always has “a bunch of his friends” at games even when he’s in “regular season mode,” adding, “He’s kept in touch much better with a lot of the people from our hometown. So there’s always a loaded contingency for the Kelces, wherever we’re at.”
