Justin Baldoni’s Lawyer Says He’ll Release ‘Evidence’ Of Blake Lively’s ‘Pattern Of Bullying’
The ongoing feud between Lively and her “It Ends With Us” costar Baldoni has taken a dramatic turn, as the actor’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, alleges they have “evidence” of the actress’s “pattern of bullying.”
According to People Magazine, Freedman released a statement on Tuesday, January 7, where he claimed Lively and her team were the instigators of a “vicious attack” against his client and that he would release evidence to that effect.
“It is painfully ironic that Blake Lively is accusing Justin Baldoni of weaponizing the media when her own team orchestrated this vicious attack by sending The New York Times grossly edited documents prior to even filing the complaint,” Freedman said.

“We are releasing all of the evidence which will show a pattern of bullying and threats to take over the movie,” he continued. “None of this will come as a surprise because, consistent with her past behavior, Blake Lively used other people to communicate those threats and bully her way to get whatever she wanted. We have all the receipts and more.”

Blake Lively Sued Justin Baldoni For Sexual Harassment
Freedman’s statement comes after Lively filed a 10-claim complaint against Baldoni, alleging that he sexually harassed her on the set of the Colleen Hoover novel adaptation, as well as also mastermind a “coordinated effort to destroy her reputation.”
She said in the filing that Baldoni “often” referred to women in the workplace as “sexy” and narrated a particular incident where he “pressured” her to remove her coat to reveal her onesie even as it was partially unzipped and showing her bra.
The filing also saw the “Gossip Girl” star allege that Baldoni, in an incident, told her he thought she looked “sexy” in a tone that made her feel “ogled and exposed.”

She noted that Baldoni “routinely degraded” her by “finding back-channel ways of criticizing her body and weight,” narrating an instance where he called her trainer behind her back just 4 months after she’d given birth to her fourth child, implying that he “wanted her to lose weight in two weeks.”

The Actress’s Legal Team Says Her Accusations Are Backed By ‘Concrete Facts’
According to People Magazine, Lively’s legal team claimed on Monday, January 6, that her “serious claims of sexual harassment and retaliation” are “backed by concrete facts.”
“This is not a ‘feud’ arising from ‘creative differences’ or a ‘he said/she said’ situation,” her lawyers’ statement read.
It continued, “As alleged in Ms. Lively’s complaint, and as we will prove in litigation, Wayfarer [Studios] and its associates engaged in unlawful, retaliatory astroturfing against Ms. Lively for simply trying to protect herself and others on a film set.”
Lively’s lawyers noted that Baldoni’s “response to the lawsuit has been to launch more attacks against Ms. Lively since her filing,” adding that “sexual harassment and retaliation are illegal in every workplace and in every industry.
Blake Lively’s Lawyers Claim Justin Baldoni Is Trying To ‘Blame The Victim’
Lively’s lawyers listed two manipulation tactics used by perpetrators in their statement, claiming that Baldoni and his team are trying to distract from the allegations brought against him.
They said, “A classic tactic to distract from allegations of this type of misconduct is to ‘blame the victim’ by suggesting that they invited the conduct, brought it on themselves, misunderstood the intentions, or even lied.”
“Another classic tactic is to reverse the victim and offender and suggest that the offender is actually the victim. These concepts normalize and trivialize allegations of serious misconduct,” the lawyers added.

“Most importantly, media statements are not a defense to Ms. Lively’s legal claims,” Lively’s legal team further noted. “We will continue to prosecute her claims in federal court, where the rule of law determines who prevails, not hyperbole and threats.”
Justin Baldoni Sued The New York Times For Its Report On The Blake Lively Lawsuit
Baldoni has since retaliated by filing a $250 million libel lawsuit againstĀ The New York Times for its report on Lively’s allegations. The lawsuit states that the Times pushed the actress’s “unverified and self-serving narrative.”
In an earlier publication, the news outlet claimed that the actor hired a crisis PR team to “bury” Lively and tarnish her reputation.
Meanwhile, Baldoni’s lawyer previously slammed Lively’s lawsuit, calling it an attempt on her part to “fix her negative reputation” and saying that the claims are “false, outrageous and intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt.”
He went further to accuse the actress of causing problems on set, “threatening to not show up to set, threatening to not promote the film, ultimately leading to its demise during release.”
