Lil Wayne Calls Out Kendrick Perkins For Dissin’ Nicki Minaj
Lil Wayne jumped right on X (formerly Twitter) as soon as he caught Kendrick Perkins talking smack about Nicki. The ‘A Milli’ rapper fired back late Friday, Feb. 7, sending a message dissin’ the former NBA player, saying, “The Warriors thought they was getting a Taylor Swift or a Beyoncé and ended up getting a #kendrickperkins Stop playin b**h,” Wayne wrote. Meanwhile, Nicki hasn’t said anything about Kendrick Perkins’ comment yet.
Here’s What Kendrick Perkins Said About Nicki Minaj
On a recent episode of ‘NBA Today,’ Perkins was talking about Jimmy Butler being traded to the Golden State Warriors.
While discussing it, he said, “Listen, I was looking for the Warriors, I’m thinking they’re gonna go out there and get a Beyoncé or Taylor Swift. They end up getting a [Nicki Minaj]. And that’s okay!”
His co-hosts straight up told him the Barbz would come for him, and yup, they did! The Barbz went in on Perkins so hard he had to hop on X and apologize to Nicki, writing, “Wish I would’ve known about the Barbz before my Nicki Minaj take… don’t charge it to my heart 
My apologies, I don’t want no smoke!”
