So when Lohan, 38, took to Instagram on Monday, December 9, to share a selfie with the dermatologist behind her flawless complexion, we didn’t waste a minute to do a deep dive into the woman who is, in part, responsible for the actress’ much-talked-about transformation.

Positioning herself as “Dubai’s first celebrity doctor,” Dr. Ramila Lukian is a dermatologist, anti-aging specialist and founder of the Lucia Clinic in Dubai, which provides both surgical and non-surgical services — including dermatology, plastic surgery, aesthetic, and cosmetic treatments for the face and body — creating tailor-made programs to “age gracefully.”
“I love getting cleansing facials at Lucia Clinic to keep my skin healthy and glowing,” Lohan is quoted as saying on Dr. Lukian’s website.

The clinic performs several cleansing facials, such as microdermabrasion, which exfoliates to reveal brighter and smoother skin underneath, and the HydraFacial, a popular medical-grade treatment that targets fine lines, wrinkles and sun damage. A quick gander at Dr. Lukian’s feed reveals that she also works with a slew of A-listers, including supermodels Naomi Campbell and Joan Smalls and actress Eva Longoria, and is frequently seen cozying up to them at glamorous black-tie charity events around the globe.
Indeed, Dr. Lukian’s website confirms this, noting that she “provides individualized treatment to a global clientele — including some of the most glamorous and influential figures in the world.”
