Line-ups confirmed as Marquinhos returns but Doku misses out

It’s crunch time for Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City with both sides struggling to make the playoffs in the revamped Champions League.

PSG start the night in 26th place, a point and two places behind City, who occupy the final spot that would mean their European adventure continues into another month.

It is not a situation these two big-spending clubs – both backed by Middle East money – would have envisaged at the start of the campaign.

Paris Saint-Germain Team News

The big news for the home side is the return of central defender and captain Marquinhos from a thigh injury.

The Brazilian, who missed their weekend win at Lens, comes in for Lucas Beraldo.

There were two other changes with Achraf Hakimi and Joao Neves coming in for Lucas Hernandez and Warren Zaire-Emery.

PSG: Donnarumma, Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes, Ruiz, Neves, Vitinha, Lee, Doue, Barcola

Manchester City Team News

Pep Guardiola made two changes to the side that won 6-0 at Ipswich on Sunday, one enforced with Jeremy Doku missing out through injury.

Doku was superb at Portman Road at the weekend but sustained a niggle that meant he was unable to travel to Paris. Savinho comes in for the Belgium winger.

Elsewhere, Bernardo Silva is preferred in midfield to Ilkay Gundogan.

Matheus Nunes continues at right-back.

Manchester City: Ederson, Nunes, Akanji, Dias, Gvardiol, Kovacic, De Bruyne (C), Bernardo, Savinho, Foden, Haaland
