Manchester City will pursue their only realistic chance of a trophy this season when they host Championship side Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup fifth round on Saturday (5.45pm GMT).
Manager Pep Guardiola has won the trophy twice at City but lost last season’s final to Manchester United. City have won at home to fourth-tier Salford City and away to third-tier Leyton Orient so far in their campaign.
Plymouth provided the shock of the last round when the second-tier strugglers ousted Premier League leaders Liverpool 1-0 at home.

Plymouth lineup vs Manchester City
Plymouth are without forward Ryan Hardie, who scored their winner against Liverpool, because of a back injury, while on-loan striker Muhamed Tijani is also out with a hamstring problem.
Manager Miron Muslic makes six changes to the side who started their 1-1 draw at home to Cardiff City in the Championship last Saturday.
Defender Julio Pleguezuelo, wing-backs Matty Sorinola and Nathanael Ogbeta, midfielders Malachi Boateng and Darko Gyabi and attacker Bali Mumba all come in, which means Jordan Houghton, Kornel Szucs, Tymoteusz Puchacz, Rami Al Hajj and Victor Palsson are on the bench.
Defender Nikola Katic captains Argyle in the absence of the injured Adam Randell.
Plymouth starting XI: Hazard, Mumba, Katic, Pleguezuelo, Sorinola, Ogbeta, Gyabi, Maxi, Wright, Boateng, Bundu

When is the FA Cup quarter-final draw 2025?
The draw will take place on Sunday, March 2 after United attempt to earn a third win over Fulham this season when the Cottagers visit Old Trafford.
That game starts at 4.30pm, so the earliest the draw could potentially take place is around 6.30pm.
All ties from the first round of the competition must be settled on the day, so there could be extra time and penalties if the score remains level, which would push the approximate time of the draw past 7pm.
FA Cup quarter-final draw: TV channel, online live stream
United vs Fulham is being shown by BBC Sport, which means the draw will be screened on BBC One.
Fans can follow the ceremony online and on the move via BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website, while the Football Association’s online channels will also be carrying coverage.
