Lovense Osci 3 Review: A Vibrator That Warms Up

Lovense is a brand I stayed away from in my early years of reviewing sex toys. It wasn’t anything personal, but Lovense products always show up to the party with so many bells and whistles that, at least for me, it was overwhelming. I’m naturally overstimulated—my brain is always all over the place—so it didn’t make sense that I’d vibe with a Lovense toy.

But over time, as more Lovense pitches came my way, I couldn’t ignore it anymore. I had to get over my fear of my brain possibly exploding from too much technological stimulation and embrace what Lovense delivers: an epically fun ride. Or at least that’s exactly what I experienced with the Osci 3, a rabbit vibrator.

Another Stratosphere

I’m not one to mindlessly throw around compliments, so believe me when I say the Osci 3 is out of this world. From the get-go, it looks like any other rabbit vibrator on the market but looks can be deceiving. The internal arm meant for G-spot stimulation heats up to normal body temperature, making it superb for when you’re rolling solo and you want that body-safe silicone to feel more human than a cold synthetic material.

It also has, and this is the first time I’ve encountered such a feature, a G-spot oscillator. When turned on, a circular area that’s roughly the size of a penny gives your G-spot one hell of a massage through a variety of patterns—from tapping to wave-like sensations, as well as a steady stream of pattern-free vibrations that get astronomically more intense every time you push the button. It took me a few minutes to succumb to the pleasure of it all because I was initially so focused on how the hell this was happening and feeling so damn good. It feels like you’re being fingered by a fingering pro.

None of this means the external arm wasn’t just as much of a thrill—its job is to stimulate the clitoris, after all. It does this through various vibration patterns and intensities and, like the G-spot arm, gets powerful. So strong that if you have a sensitive clit, this toy, even at its lowest intensity, might be a little much.

Special Treat

The Lovense app is easy to navigate despite all the features the Osci 3 offers. You don’t need the app to use the vibrator, but it opens up a few extras. Most interesting is the ability to send a link to a public Lovense platform filled with strangers from anywhere in the world—they can then control your vibrator. You can chat with these people or just lay back and let some random person in, say, New Zealand control your toy while you’re in bed in New York City.

I’ve never been into anonymous sex, and the idea of anonymous masturbation sessions isn’t a turn-on for me, but I sent a link to my Osci 3 out into the void to see if there was anyone on the other end. Many people queued up. This was also the first time in my life someone called me “mommy” and asked if I were their mommy, something I’m hoping I’ll never be subjected to again. (No judgment for anyone into this kink, but it’s just not my thing.) You can also partake in a worldwide orgy in real-time with Lovense Vibemate.

As far as long-distance interaction goes, I tried the Osci 3 with my partner, who’s currently on the opposite side of the Atlantic—and that was deliciously fun. You can get almost five full hours of usage out of the Osci 3 when it’s fully charged, and thanks to its ergonomic design, your wrist will be a happy camper—even for people who suffer from carpal syndrome like me.

I’d recommend the Osci 3 to anyone who loves to experiment and explore new heights, because it allows you to do just that—even with strangers. Its $199 price (discounted to $99 at publishing) is more than fair for what it is—a great companion for anyone in a long-distance relationship.
