Michael B. Jordan Lands In The Middle Of ‘Selling The City’ Feud

Michael B. Jordan is once again making waves in the Netflix real estate universe, but this time, it’s not about a purchase—it’s about the drama swirling around him.

The Hollywood actor became an unexpected focal point in “Selling the City,” the latest Netflix real estate show, due to a past situation with cast member Gisselle Meneses Nunez.

Gisselle Meneses Nunez first revealed that she had a situationship with Michael B. Jordan approximately seven years ago.

In the series premiere, Eleonora Srugo introduced her team at Douglas Elliman to a jaw-dropping $20 million penthouse at the Olympia Dumbo. During the presentation, she dropped hints about a “pretty high-profile” client who had backed out of the contract.

While she refrained from naming names, her colleague Abigail Godfrey didn’t hold back, confessing in a confessional, “We all know. It’s public record. Everybody knows who it is. I don’t know why we are all talking in code.”

It quickly became clear that the buyer in question was none other than Michael B. Jordan.

Eleonora encouraged her team to capitalize on the information, leading Jordyn Taylor Braff to share her own encounter with the star. “I went out one night with my boyfriend and by chance we stumbled upon each other. Drinks were flowing, he let us know what his real estate needs were,” Jordyn revealed.

She emphasized the competitive atmosphere of the night, adding, “There were three other real estate agents in the room, so I had to make sure it was ours. We are bringing it to the team.”

However, Gisselle wasn’t thrilled about Jordyn’s triumph, citing her personal history with Jordan. “This client is someone who I had a situationship with seven years ago. But we are still in touch and we are still good friends. We have spoken about real estate,” she explained in her confessional.

What stung the most for Gisselle was that Jordyn hadn’t given her a heads-up about reconnecting with Jordan professionally. “It is girl code,” she added.

The tension between the two agents boiled over into a private confrontation. Gisselle confronted Jordyn, saying, “You should have sent me a message before getting in contact with the actor.” Jordyn, however, fired back, stating, “Don’t forget, I have known this person for years as well. This person is a friend of mine. We’ve been distant friends for years. My point is there is no personal relationship. It is a cut and dry business relationship, which is why this works so well.”

As emotions flared, Jordyn accused Gisselle of making the deal too personal, while Gisselle insisted her previous professional interactions with Jordan and his team gave her a stake in the situation.

The argument escalated when Gisselle brought up Jordyn’s ex-boyfriend, Trevor Noah. “What you are saying is if I run into Trevor Noah and now I go after him and get him as a client, that is fine?” Gisselle questioned. Jordyn shot back, “Is that a threat? Are you now on a mission to go do that?”

Despite their heated exchange, the two women reached an impasse, admitting they weren’t sure how to “build trust” after such a disagreement. In an interview with Us Weekly, Jordyn later admitted they were “still working” on finalizing the lengthy deal.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Michael B. Jordan’s name has been entangled in Netflix real estate drama. Fans of “Selling Sunset” may recall Bre Tiesi casually revealing during season 7 that she had hooked up with Jordan in the past.

“Who would you sleep with celebrity-wise? Who would you pick?” Chrishell Stause asked before Amanza Smith chose the Marvel actor. Bre meanwhile, replied, “I could do that, and I’ve done that. I’ve slept with all of my favorites. I’m kidding.”

Bre later claimed her comment was part of a larger conversation about her relationship with Nick Cannon, with whom she shares 2-year-old son Legendary.
