Legendary India skipper MS Dhoni recently spoke about his life after retirement from international cricket. Dhoni also revealed whether he missed playing for India after hanging up his boots or not.
Dhoni announced his retirement from international cricket in August 2020. His last international game was the ODI World Cup semi-final between India and New Zealand, where the Men in Blue suffered a heartbreaking defeat.
Dhoni was dismissed in the dying stages of the match as India failed to qualify for the final. His wicket was probably the last nail in the coffin as it allowed New Zealand to qualify for the summit clash.

Does MS Dhoni miss international cricket?
While speaking on the Eurogrip Tyres YouTube channel, MS Dhoni spoke about his life post-retirement. He claims that he still doesn’t have too much time even after quitting international cricket.
However, as expected, he gave a straightforward reply when asked about missing international cricket. He made it clear that he doesn’t miss it since he gave the decision a lot of thought before announcing it and knows that there is no point thinking about it again.
“I thought I will get more time, but sadly, I haven’t got much time. I don’t miss international cricket because I always believe you know you think about everything then you take a decision,” Dhoni said.
“Once you have taken a decision, no point really thinking about that. So I am very happy with God’s grace whatever I was able to do for my country,” he added.

MS Dhoni further shed light on his life post-retirement and claims how it has enabled him to connect with his family and friends again. He also shared about his love for bikes and how he can ride them without much hindrance.
“It has been fun. I have been able to spend a lot of time with friends, I can do a lot more motorcycle rides, not the long ones, that’s something very close to my heart. It has been good, family time, daughter questioning when you are coming back,” Dhoni observed.
It is well known that Dhoni has a long-lasting love for motorbikes. The legendary wicketkeeper-batter has a wide range of collection of bikes and is often seen riding them outside his home or close to his home.
MS Dhoni still an active IPL player
Although he has retired from international cricket, MS Dhoni is still an active player in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The 43-year-old has kept on playing for his beloved franchise Chennai Super Kings and will turn up for them in the upcoming season as well.
CSK retained Dhoni for INR 4 crore by CSK under the uncapped player’s category since his last international match was more than five years ago. In the last few years, he has turned into more of a lower-order hitter and has played some fiery cameos down the order.
