After Andhra Pradesh posted a gigantic total of 229 runs, Mumbai came up with the magical effort with the bat. Openers Ajinkya Rahane and Prithvi Shaw made sure that they gave their team a strong start with the bat and put the opposition under massive pressure.

Suryansh Shedge finishes off in style as Mumbai chase 230 runs to script history
In the end, it was Suryansh Shedge, who played the finishers role to perfection. The right-hander played an unbeaten innings of 30 runs off just 8 balls. He batted with a strike rate of 357 and also hit 2 fours and 3 sixes in his innings, which powered Mumbai to the win with three balls to spare.

With the chase, Mumbai broke the previous high of a 227-run chase by Pondicherry against Andhra in 2021. Baroda is the only other side to chase down a 220-plus target, achieving the feat during a 222-run chase against Tamil Nadu in Indore last week.
