In an emotional Instagram post on February 4, the 44-year-old designer shared that she is stepping away from the spotlight to focus on her family, business, and personal growth.

“2025 is a new beginning for me,” Rebecca wrote, reflecting on her decision to leave the show. “And with current events in the world, I am reminded [of] the importance of family, friends and community now more than ever. The last month has given me a new perspective on wanting to focus on my wildly amazing 4 kids, my supportive husband, my business of 20 years, the Female Founder Collective, my podcast and MY BOOK.”

Despite the tensions, Rebecca expressed gratitude for her time on the show. “As much as I have learned along the way with this franchise and fans, I want to reprioritize the things that mean the most to me: designing, giving back, supporting women and raising my family,” she said.

“I am truly grateful for the experience, the friendships and the fans that have been part of this RHONY chapter.” Now, Rebecca is ready to move on, turning her attention to what truly matters: her family, her career, and the causes she’s passionate about. “Time to turn the page,” she concluded.

During the reunion, Rebecca Minkoff was pressured to address allegations about her religious beliefs, with co-star Erin Lichy questioning how she could practice both Scientology and Judaism. Rebecca defended her faith, explaining that Scientology helped her cope with depression and anxiety and supported her success as a businesswoman.

She expressed frustration with the way her beliefs were mocked, particularly by Brynn Whitfield, who compared her to a “used car salesman selling snake oil.”

Rebecca emphasized that such comments were offensive and felt like an attack without understanding her. She also criticized the reunion format for not allowing a respectful discussion about her faith, recalling a more productive conversation she had with co-stars Racquel Chevremont and Jessel Taank.
