Researcher shows “dramatic” change in Norway glacier ice levels

A new study this week in the Nature journal found mountain glaciers are melting more than twice as rapidly as in the early 2000s. They lost more than 600 billion tons of ice in 2023 when David Schecter visited Svalbard, Norway.
